"Looking forward to the Past" series

Procuring the mail from the mailbox during the isolation of the Covid year 2020 I had a definitionally idiosyncratic but compelling thought involving the existence of other sentient beings occupying the same space and time on Earth but from alternate dimensions or time periods. Through some glitch in the time continuum these beings appear before you and, for a brief moment, you both occupy the same plane of experience together. In their existence perhaps trees, the sun, a breathable atmosphere or even gravity are foreign, so they are startled, engrossed or possibly envious of this version of Earth and all its amazing attributes, resulting in an uncomfortable moment of awareness.
