“human NATURE” series

This body of work represents a continuance of my long interest in Societal imagery and it’s manifestation of, and connection to technological, social and mechanical representation; but is now combined with my own interest in exploring landscape imagery to represent the non-ability of some humans to appreciate and protect the natural resources they need to survive as a species, or for most, even to be aware of their environment. The juxtaposition of images creates a “tension of intentions”, each seductive in it’s own way, but in conflict with a potential for interaction being present but never realized. I am most intrigued by a ‘present” sense of absence, which for me is representative of “human NATURE.
