“Trial”
“The emotionally driven misdeeds so prevalent in Television and the entertainment industry as a whole stem from actual occurrences, as do these images. Authentic photographs from a prominent murder trial in Los Angeles were purchased and re-photographed, after being altered they were fabricated into maquettes combined with text culled from the local newspaper. This juxtaposition of image and text forms dramatic life altering scenarios of the personalities involved in the murder trial, but they become not about an individual but humans in general, that are caught up the results of their fatal actions. The murdered person becomes nothing more than a grainy 8x10 black and white photograph, mere documentary evidence”.
