The cyclic reference in this imagery is the recondite participation and completion by the viewer. The subject matter exists and is photographed, then reproduced for commercial consumption, purchased, re-introduced to subject matter and then re-photographed and becomes an “instant” visualization of that protracted and layered cycle. An aesthetic as well as intellectual interpretation of an onanistic activity.
